On Saturday, Your firefighters, Board Members and Auxiliary Services completed a very long and tiring week at the fair. But what a week! We sold a lot of raffle tickets for our firearm raffle this year, if you need tickets please message us, one of Your Firefighters or Auxiliary Services members will tell you how.
But what great memories we made, meeting the members of our community, and making friends with all of the children. We had games and prizes, using this as another opportunity for fire prevention, showing the kids what we look like when we go to work fighting fires, teaching them to not be afraid of us. Members of Your Department, with members form South Boundary Fire Protection District and Paradise Valley Fire Protection District braved the heat, put on all of their gear and walked among the crowd, and had a blast doing it.
We also potentially picked up a few more prospective firefighters, but there is always room for more!
