By paying dues to the North Bench Fire District you help to support the growth and safety of our community. All proceeds are used to provide our firefighters with the best equipment and training necessary to protect our community and the surrounding regions, we do not collect any taxes and are completely supported by dues.

What is a fire ASSOCIATION
A common question we receive here at North Bench Fire is “what is a fire association?” A fire association is a fire department that is not taxpayer funded, its funding is based on voluntary dues paid by individuals and businesses in the district. North Bench Fire does not receive any taxpayer dollars and is instead 100% funded by dues and donations.
If you choose to not belong to the association and require fire services, you may be charged for the services we provide. Members who choose to support the district by paying dues are never charged for any of the services we provide.

2024 Membership Dues Schedule
| Single residence on up to 75 acres | $145 |
| Single residence on more than 75 acres | $175 |
| Each additional residence | $145 |
| Acreage without residences up to 50 acres | $55 |
| Acreage without residences more than 50 acres | $85 |
- A residence is considered any structure that is occupied throughout the year, including detached in-law quarters, RV’s, trailers, and tiny homes.
- Example 1 – Two residences on 60 acres = $145 (Single residence <75 acres) + $145 (additional residence) = $290
- Example 2 – Three residences on 150 acres = $175 (single residence >75 acres) + $290 (two additional residence @$145 each) = $465
- If you own multiple residential properties that are not adjacent, price each one separately.
- If the primary purpose of your property is for commercial business, you will be billed separately at commercial rates. If you do not receive a bill for this, please contact us.
